Beginning Orchestra

 

Beginning Orchestra is available to all 4th, 5th & 6th Grade students at Sand Creek and NorthRidge Elementary Schools.    In this class, students will learn how to hold, care for, and begin to play the instrument.  No previous instruction is required.  In orchestra, students can learn to play violin, viola, cello or string bass.  The Sand Creek classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:15-9:00 and the NorthRidge classes are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:10.   Mr. Shugert teaches the class.  Click here to register.

NorthRidge Rental night is Tuesday, August 23 at NorthRidge Elementary School.  5:00-6:00.

 

 

Intermediate Orchestra

 

Intermediate Orchestra is available to all 4th, 5th & 6th Grade students at Sand Creek and NorthRidge Elementary Schools.  In this class, students will build on their fundamental skills and learn to play more complex music in a variety of styles.  Previous experience, such as a year of completed beginning orchestra, is required. 

The Sand Creek classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30-8:15. 

The NorthRidge classes are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4:10-4:50
